Problem finding
For users with zero posts in past 30 days, we analysis the main issues are:
Users lack the willingness to create.
The cost of uploading and filtering actions is high.
Many posts only visible to the user themselves, unable to leverage other users.
Based on the above analysis, a potentially better posting promotion play should have the following characteristics:
Low threshold: Directly postable, no multiple-choice problems -> Extract stock content from the local album
Replayable: Revisit value, random little surprises -> Uncertainty and scarcity stimulate revisits
More follow-shooting: Follow-shooting on consumption side, leveraging more people -> Has follow-shooting value and amplifying posting motivationIn
Also with previous experiments "On This day", we observed a significant increase in the number of posting, which fully verified the motivation of submitting based on "nostalgia" for past content. We hope to promote platform posting through the sense of surprise brought by uncertainty, using a lightweight, low-threshold play to encourage users to continuously explore past memories. From there, we created Memory booth.
